Moving on from 'that' weekend....what are my goals for today?

Ok, the weekend was bad, but it could have been worse....

I could have snacked and grazed....I could have eaten pudding each day......I could have had a fry up including fried bread........I didn't drink alcohol.....I didn't eat between meals at all.

To get things in perspective, I did plan to have an indulgent weekend before starting on the 90 day look great naked plan today. Problem is it hasn't arrived, so in the interim I am just focussing on the advice given to be by my Guru in these matter , Paul Mort.

I will eliminate wheat, alcohol, convenience foods, lactose, and sugar (except perhaps honey) for a period of 90 days.......

It went a bit wrong this morning because I had no food in the house after a weekend away.....though I did damage limitation by having a nuts and seeds cerial bar for breakfast, dried apricots and sultanas in between and a 145 calorie shapers pasta salad for lunch. I will go completely wheat free this evening when my shopping arrives this evening.

Speaking of which, I have ordered gluten free pasta, museli (organic) and quinoa, gotas milk and yoghurt and organic harrissa to help me on my way. Nothing naughty.

Must remember to ask Paul if I can have honey and one cheat meal per week........and what that might consist of.

Anyway, in addition to 'start eating plan', my other goals for the day are to go to bellydance tonight and to walk 30 minutes at lunchtime. That means nowish. And I will. I promise. When I have finished this blog. Honest.

Important goals achieved this weekend despite dietary debauchery were:
  • Do something special for Alex, mum, gran
  • Be nice to everyone you meet
  • Learn to apply eyeshadow
  • Exfoliate skin

So there you go.....not a complete wreckage of a weekend after all........off to have that walk now
